<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch device capable of simplifying the structure of the clutch device itself, and reducing slide resistance in excitation current application to suppress energy loss, and a differential device using the same. <P>SOLUTION: This clutch device 1 includes a first rotating member 3, a second rotating member 5, a clutch member 7, a solenoid 9, a core 15 having one circumferential wall 11 and one end wall 13, and a plunger 17, wherein the clutch member 7 is driven by axially actuating the plunger 17 by magnetic flux circling the core 15, the plunger 17 and the first rotating member 3 when carrying a current to the solenoid 9. In this clutch device, the one circumferential wall 11 is axially extended to provide a sleeve part 19 slidably fitted to a circumferential surface formed on the first rotating member 3 to be radially positioned, and axially positioned by making a tip thereof slidably abut on the first rotating member 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
