Method for preparing percolate and percolate preparation plant

The method involves feeding percolate resulting from washing residual waste, especially household waste, to a processing stage (3) with coarse material separation (3a), floating and settling material separation (3b) and fibrous material separation (3c) before the percolate is fed to at least one fermentation stage (2) for fermentation of native organic components to form biogas. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a percolate preparation system (B) and a waste preparation system.
