The invention relates to a transport path for piece goods, comprising a roller conveyor (1) made of a plurality of rollers or cylinders (2), on which a round bearing section having a bushing (21) rotatably mounted thereon is designed toward the edge of the roller conveyor, wherein the rollers or cylinders (2) can be set in rotation by means of a common drive belt (31) contacting the bushings (21) from outside. The transmittable torque between the bushing inner surface and the bearing section is less than the transmittable torque between the drive belt (31) and the bushing outer surface. The rollers or cylinders (2) have a second bearing section comprising second bushings (22) rotatably mounted thereon. The second bushings (22) can be set in rotation by means of at least one second drive belt (32). In at least a portion of the rollers or cylinders (2), the driving force transmitted from the second drive belt (32) to the second bushing (22) is different in size and/or direction from the driving force transmitted from the first drive belt (31) to the first bushing (21).
