PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a rubber hose causing no unqualified appearance such as a pockmark, and excellent in the workability of the insertion and removal or the like of a mandrel. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the rubber hose comprises a process of preliminarily applying a following aqueous liquid X on either of the outer circumferential surface of a mandrel and the inner circumferential surface of an unvulcanized rubber hose when the unvulcanized rubber hose is engaged with and inserted in the mandrel, a process of vulcanizing the unvulcanized rubber hose with the unvulcanized rubber hose engaged with and inserted in the mandrel, and a process of pulling out the mandrel from the vulcanized rubber hose after the vulcanization process wherein the aqueous liquid X is a mixture of a silicone-based emulsion (A) having a water content of 40 to 94 wt.% and a water-soluble thickener (B), and has viscosity adjusted in a range from 2,000 to 5,000 mPa s.
