Touchpad as an interface and code reader for controlling further devices

The device i.e. oven (1), has a reader unit (3) connectable with a microwave apparatus (4) through a communication link. The reader unit capacitively detects data provided together with an object. The microwave apparatus is controlled based on the detected data. The reader unit is designed as a component i.e. touchscreen, of a mobile communication apparatus, which is wirelessly communicated with the microwave apparatus for treatment of the object. The data is applied on a card (5), which is provided to the object.
