<p>With a fan and an air conditioner in which a centrifugal fan having an impeller and a scroll casing is disposed inside a unit casing having a unit intake port, the intake air distribution at an scroll intake port of the scroll casing is improved. An air conditioner (1) comprises a centrifugal fan (3) and a unit casing (2) that houses the centrifugal fan (3). The centrifugal fan (3) includes an impeller (31a to 31d) and a scroll casing (32a to 32d) that houses the each impeller (31a to 31d). The unit casing (2) has a unit intake port (2a) that opens in a direction crossing an opening direction of a scroll intake port (34a to 34d). At a circumferential portion of the scroll intake port (34a to 34d) of the scroll casing (32a to 32d), there is formed a bulged portion (61a to 61d) whose inner surface is formed evenly in a circumferential direction and whose outer surface portion far from the unit intake port (2a) is formed such that it bulges out to a side opposite the impeller.</p> |
