<p>The carrier (1) has a transponder (10) with a transponder antenna whose structure is rounded in an interruption section by a separate conductive bridge (11). The bridge is formed by an electrically conductive unit e.g. safety thread (4), that is extended from one edge to the other edge of the carrier and/or carrier semi-finished part. The antenna is formed as an antenna coil (9) with number of windings, where the bridge bridges the windings. A separate passivation layer is formed between the conductive unit and the bridged winding. An independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing a data carrier or a data carrier semi-finished part.</p> |
