An apparatus for reducing the air resistance of a vessel is disclosed. According to an embodiment of the present invention, an apparatus for reducing the air resistance of a vessel comprises a first container row which is aligned in the width direction of a vessel; a second container row which is separated from the first container row with a gap in the longitudinal direction of the vessel; and, possibly, a gap removing module which suppresses flow separation and stagnation occurring when the flow passes the gap.
