MULTILINGUAL DICTIONARY USING HANGUL-BASED UNIVERSAL PHONETIC SYSTEM

The present invention relates to a multilingual dictionary using Hangul-based universal phonetic symbols including a system for searching for various types of foreign languages using phonetic symbols (hereinafter, Hangul-based universal phonetic symbols) made up of Korean alphabets, the system comprising: an input unit (100) for entering the pronunciation of each word in various types of foreign languages using Hangul-based universal phonetic symbols; a vocabulary storage unit (200) for storing the pronunciation of each word in various types of foreign languages which is represented by the Hangul-based universal phonetic symbol; a vocabulary cognition map unit (300) for classifying and storing words forming the foreign language by group according to semantic relevance and general use frequency; a user vocabulary storage unit (400) for storing words searched and selected by users with the selection frequency of the user; an output unit (500) for displaying a word corresponding to Hangul-based universal phonetic symbols inputted to the input unit (100); and a central processing unit (600) for controlling to search for the word corresponding to the Hangul-based universal phonetic symbol inputted to the input unit (100) in the vocabulary storage unit (200) or the user vocabulary storage unit (400) and display the searched word to the output unit.
