The present invention relates to a reverse driving vehicle alarm control device and method and the reverse driving vehicle alarm control device comprises; a path determination part which determines whether a driving direction of a vehicle is a normal direction or a reverse direction by comparing current position information of the vehicle and road information in which the vehicle is positioned; a communication part which transmits and receives vehicle information among the vehicle and surrounding vehicles; an access vehicle analyzing part which grasps the position of the surrounding vehicles based on the vehicle information received from the surrounding vehicles and analyzes an access vehicle among the surrounding vehicles approaching to the vehicle; a hitting time calculation part which calculates a hitting estimated time using speed information and a relative distance between the access vehicle and the vehicle; an alarm setting part which sets up an alarm and outputs an alarm message if the hitting estimated time is within a set reference value.
