Provided is a rotating electrical machine with high performance, capable of securing heating around a hook in a fusing process, stabilizing an electrical connection between a coil and a commutator, and preventing the disconnection of the coil. The rotating electrical machine includes a commutator piece (40) which includes a hook (42) which is connected to a coil (23) in one end thereof and a skid contact part (43) in contact with a brush (33) in the other end thereof in an axial direction, the commutator (22) which is composed of a plurality of commutator pieces in a circumferential direction, and the coil (23) which is electrically connected to the hook (42) by fusing. A groove part (46) of the commutator piece (40) is formed around a leading edge (42a) in the axial direction between the skid contact part (43) and the leading edge (42a) of the hook (42). |
