The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for controlling an operation schedule of a boiler in a building energy management system. An operating condition and schedule for a plurality of different boilers are checked. Road patterns on the boilers are analyzed using statistics data on the boilers. A period for controlling the operating schedule is determined by the analyzed road patterns. Whether or not the operating schedule of the boilers is controlled is determined according to an average road rate for each period. If the operating schedule needs to be controlled, the operating schedule of the boilers is controlled considering one of the capacity and type of the boiler based on the road rate using the statistics data. The selected boiler is operated in a boiler system and energy saving result is checked by monitoring information. Energy efficiency is improved as the boilers are effectively operated with maintaining a pleasant environment.
