The invention relates to a surgical suture instrument for anastomosis, which includes a holding means for holding two annular portions of a tubular tissue to be sutured, the outer surfaces thereof being in contact, at an interface (25) between a main body (10) and a head (20), a reciprocating mechanism housed in the main body (10) which moves a suture needle (3) having a suture thread (H) threaded through the eye (3a) thereof through the interface (25), passing through the two annular portions of the tubular tissue, a linking mechanism which moves an eyelet tab (4) housed in the head (20) in coordination with the reciprocating movement of the suture needle (3), and a feed mechanism which rotates the reciprocating and linking mechanisms about a longitudinal axis (E). The eyelet tab (4) engages with the suture needle (3) inside the head (4) in order to perform the suture by means of the thread (H). |
