The bench is located tribological pair consisting of a variable -shaped samples ( 4 ) , which tribologic contact rectilinear reciprocating motion carried by a stationary planar sample ( 3 ) . It monitors the wear rate of the samples of various materials, coatings and surface modifications, depending on the number of cycles of reciprocating motion and load . At the same time it is possible to examine the effect of different lubricants on the wear of the samples. Lubricant temperature is maintained at the same time constant. According to the requirements can be resized and forth motion nature and size of the load. The device allows you to test samples (4 ) with different geometrical characteristics ( equal sample pin element , shaped sample ) . During testing continuously records the time course of temperature lubricant, normal force and the number of cycles performed reciprocating motion . The machine can be set so that after a certain number of cycles automatically terminate the test. During the test process can be remotely controlled and monitored. |
