The present invention relates to a manhole with a manhole cover locking function and, specifically, to a manhole which comprises a manhole cover, a working pipe, a fixing unit, a fixing bolt, and an elastic spring. The manhole cover includes a cover frame and a working chamber facing each other. The cover frame has a catching protrusion on the inner circumference and a supporting slope at the bottom of the catching protrusion. The working chamber is wedged in the cover frame with a transfer groove at the bottom, a guide groove on the inner side of the transfer groove, and a joint groove on the inner side of the guide groove. The working pipe is arranged in the guide groove and is pierced by a working hole. The fixing unit is integrated with the end of the working pipe, is arranged on the transfer groove, and has a pressing head with a connection groove connected to the working pipe. The head of the fixing bolt is caught in the connection groove and a fixing nut on the joint groove. A shaft integrated with the head is engaged with the fixing nut through the working hole. The elastic spring is wedged in the shaft and is arranged on the guide groove to press the fixing unit towards the inner circumference of the cover frame. Through this, the present invention resolves problems about the detachment of the manhole cover from the cover frame caused by malfunction and hitches due to corrosion by maintaining watertightness and preventing the inside and the internal elastic spring from being corroded; prevents the manhole cover from being detached from the manhole frame when a vehicle runs over the manhole cover at high speed by using the elastic spring and the fixing unit on the manhole cover; and prevents safety accidents by eliminating frictional noise. |
