PURPOSE: A headlight control device and a control method thereof are provided to control an irradiation direction of a headlight of a vehicle by detecting curvature and inclination information of a lane in forward from an acquired road image. CONSTITUTION: An image acquisition unit(110) acquires an image of a road in the front. A control unit(120) recognizes a lane in an image of a road. The control unit controls an angle of a headlight(L). The control unit detects a vanishing point of the recognized lane. The control unit predicts an inclination angle of the road.
