The present invention relates to a remote monitoring system for an amplifier of public address broadcasting and a method thereof capable of effectively monitoring a plurality of PA amplifiers for public address broadcasting since the system can monitor the PA amplifiers by selecting only some PA amplifiers for public address broadcasting installed in various places required for being monitored at a server computer in an integrated management center. The remote monitoring system comprises the following: an on-site monitoring device for PA amplifiers outputting analogue audio signals received from the amplifiers into digital diverted audio signals by being connected to a plurality of amplifiers; and a PA amplifier integrated management server having a selective outputting function about the audio signals and the PA amplifiers by being accessed through the on-site monitoring device for PA amplifiers and communication network after converting digital audio signals transmitted from the monitoring device into analogue audio signals. The on-site monitoring device for PA amplifiers comprises an input part; an audio signal selecting part, an audio codec, and a communication part.
