The present invention relates to a lightweight sign having an reinforcing structure and a method for manufacturing the same, and more particularly, to a lightweight sign having an reinforcing structure and method for manufacturing the same wherein the sign body is molded with an expanded polystyrene (EPS: styrofoam) such that the total weight of the sign is minimized, and thereby, making works easier such as manufacturing processes of the sign, carrying and installing the manufactured sign, relocating, replacing and removing the installed sign, and the like. Particularly, the present invention comprises a reinforcing frame with various forms and materials inside the body, and thereby, sufficiently guarantees the intensity required according to sizes, forms and the like of a sign and makes lightweightness of the sign possible. Additionally, the present invention is able to manufacture unique signs in various forms due to properties of styrofoam and is attached to the front side of signs and is able to freely chage shop names or advertising phrases, and therby, ramakably enhancing utilization of signs. Therefore, reliability and competitiveness of a product can be improved not only in sign fields, in particular, in a sign manufacturing field and a sign selling filed, but also in fileds silimar or relating to the fileds.
