APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MEASURING CHLORINE CONCENTRATION

An apparatus and a method for measuring chlorine concentration are provided. The apparatus for measuring chlorine concentration comprises a chlorine concentration measuring device which is provided to be able to measure chlorine concentration of a target object and is connected to supply line of the target object; and a temperature controlling unit which is provided to control temperature of the target object on the target object supply line. According to the present invention, the temperature of sea water, chlorine processed fresh water, or water can be controlled to be the optimal temperature environment suitable for measuring the temperature of sea water or water when the chlorine concentration of sea water, chlorine processed fresh water, or top water, specially the sea water flowed in or out from ballast tank of the ship is measured so that chlorine concentration can be rapidly and accurately measured based on reliability regardless of the temperature and a post-process such as ship management which is based on chlorine concentration measurement can be smoothly improved.
