摘要 The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for tracking the location of an unmanned aerial vehicle in case when it fails to perceive the location of the unmanned aerial vehicle because of the malfunction of a global positioning system (GPS) caused by either the disturbance of the GPS or the breakdown of the GPS receiver. The ground control equipment can control the image sensor which takes pictures of the fixed target (absolute coordinate), and by using the status information (the pitch, roll, heading, high degree) of the unmanned aerial vehicle and the information (the azimuth and high angle elevation) of the image sensor which can reversely trace the position of the fixed target by making it as the reference point. In order to accomplish the main purpose, the method for tracking the location of an unmanned aerial vehicle comprises a step where the ground control equipment transmits the control command of the image sensor in the unmanned aerial vehicle in order for the image sensor of the unmanned aerial vehicle to aim at the fixed target (S100), a step where the unmanned aerial vehicle transmits the location information of the unmanned aerial vehicle to the ground control equipment (S200), a step estimating the position of the unmanned aerial vehicle with the tracking location method by using the location information of the unmanned aerial vehicle which the ground control equipment has already transmitted (S300), and a step of indicating the location of the unmanned aerial vehicle by using the calculations from the method for tracking the location (S400).
