The method involves electrochemically transforming an initial product such as water into resultant gaseous products such as hydrogen gas and oxygen gas, using an electrolyzer (11). A part of one of the resultant gaseous products is transformed into the initial product using a fuel cell (15). The water, hydrogen gas and oxygen gas are stored in respective reservoirs (12-14) in a separated manner. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) an equipment comprising a device to vary a physico-chemical property of a given quantity of an initial product (B) an application of a physico-chemical property varying method to a sub-marine for controlling the trim and/or weighing (C) an application of the physico-chemical property varying method to a level control device (D) an application of the physico-chemical property varying method to the activation of a micro pump and/or activator.
