The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a mold (M) for hot-forming tubes made of a plastic material, referred to as plastic tubes, which have bent sections, said manufacturing method consisting of producing, by bending and/or forming, a metal molding tube (1) having the longitudinal profile of the plastic tube, partially cutting said molding tube (1) so as to enable the insertion, retention, and removal of said plastic tube, and rigidly connecting the molding tube (1) onto a mounting for stiffening the latter. According to the invention, a mounting is produced, said mounting comprising a base (7) provided with a flat surface (8) on which a path (x) is formed, wherein said path is representative of the orthogonal projection of the molding tube (1) onto said flat surface, and flat brackets (P1-Pi) are rigidly connected onto said base (7), said brackets being perpendicular to the flat surface (8) of the base and to the axis (x), and having heights that are suitable for defining a line for positioning and rigidly connecting the molding tube (1). The invention also relates to a mold for hot-forming tubes (T) made of a plastic material.
