摘要 The present invention relates to a device for automatically adjusting the fork length of a forklift in which each fork of the forklift is divided into main fork part and a movable fork adjusting part. Each main fork part has a guider coupling groove and a motor mounting groove. A pair of guiders protrudes from both sides of the rear end of the fork adjusting part, and is fitted in the guide coupling groove of the main fork part so that the length of the fork can be varied while being slid back and forth. A long bolt with the predetermined length is installed in a shaft of a motor moving forward or backward corresponding to the operational direction of a switch in a state of being installed in the motor mounting groove of the main fork part. A bolt coupling port is mounted on the bottom of the fork adjusting part to which the long bolt is thread-coupled to vary the position of the fork adjusting part corresponding to the rotational direction of the motor, thereby varying the length of the fork. Thus, the forklift safely moves large cargo without rollover, obtains the safety of the cargo, increases the loading and unloading efficiency of the cargo, and to prevent safety accidents in work places since the length of the forks is freely controlled corresponding to the volume, area, and others of the cargo to be lifted.
