<p>The device (1) has a mechanical locking unit (29) for mechanically locking a receiving cage (3) on a handling superstructure (2) fixed on a naval surface vehicle, where the cage is provided with a conical docking unit (26) to receive a front part of a marine vehicle (4). Lifting cables (12, 13) connect the cage to the superstructure. The lifting cables are supported by wheels (10a, 10b, 11a, 11b). The superstructure comprises a guiding frame (19) that slides vertically between lower receiving position and upper locking position of the cage. An independent claim is also included for a method for launching and recovering a marine vehicle housed in a cage supported by a structure fixed on a naval surface vehicle.</p> |
