[Class 75 (iv)] In a vehicle or like lamp, the front glass b is formed with a tongue c to engage inside a shaped part a<1> formed integrally with or attached to the front of the lamp casing a, and with a foot d opposite the tongue c to bear against the edge of the part a<1>, the tongue c being maintained in position by a strip spring f attached to the interior of the casing. The rocking action of a resilient member e exert-' ing a pull on the foot d may assist in maintaining the glass in position. The foot d may be notched, or it may engage a notch or housing on the part a<1> or rest on an added part integral with the casing a. The peripheral flange of a reflector h may be secured to the cylindrical part of the glass b by means of a ring k.</p> |
