The present invention relates to a pouch-type secondary battery, and more specifically, to a pouch-type secondary battery which comprises the following components: a battery cell wherein an electrode tab is formed by protruding from one side of an electrode body; a reinforcing component which is pressed to the electrode body and where multiple ribs are formed by protruding from one surface; and a pouch which surrounds and seals the electrode body and the reinforcing component and where the electrode tab is drawn out to the outside. Therefore, the pouch-type secondary battery prevents an anode and a cathode, which form the electrode body, from being short-circuited by preventing deformation of the electrode body when over-charged, thereby preventing explosion and fire. |
