PURPOSE: A system and a method for saving a life using a mobile terminal are provided to safely save the life by sending the information relative to a state of emergency received through a sensor and the information of safe refuge in a corresponding position to the mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: A system for saving a life using a mobile terminal includes a central control device (40) comprising a sensor module (10) installed in a building or a specific space to sense a state of emergency and formed by one or more sensors sending an emergency signal in an emergency at the building or the specific space; one or more emergency guide lightings (20) installed in the building or the specific space to a guide to safe refuge in the building or the specific space in the emergency; an emergency signal receiving unit (41) receiving an emergency signal from the sensor module; a speaker unit (42) outputting voice information for alarming a generation of emergency according to the emergency signal; a first position tracing unit (45) tracing a position of the mobile terminal positioned in the building or the specific space and transmitting the information of the traced mobile terminal; a mobile terminal information sending unit receiving the information of the mobile terminal from the first position tracing unit and sending emergency alarming information for alarming the generation of emergency and the information relative to the refuge to the mobile terminal; and an emergency guide lighting control unit controlling a display of the emergency guide lighting for guiding peoples to the safe refuge in the building or the specific space.
