Use of Achillea essential oil as a deodorant active agent in a cosmetic composition, is claimed. Independent claims are included for: (1) cosmetic method for treating human body odors, preferably armpits or feet, comprising applying the Achillea essential oil or the cosmetic composition to human keratinous material; (2) Achillea essential oil; and (3) the cosmetic composition.
