The apparatus has a support (32) to receive a three-dimensional fibrous preform (28), and a clamping flange (34A) mounted at an end of the preform to fix the preform on the support. A slide rule (38) is fixed at another end of the preform opposite to the former end by another clamping flange (34B). The rule is slid in a groove of the support in order to define a deframing angle for the fibrous perform. A pressure cover (44) covers and compresses the preform until a preset height defined by shims (46A, 46B) placed on the support on both sides of the fibrous preform.
