PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visual inspection device, a visual inspection method, and a computer program for effectively preventing overdetection, erroneous detection of a defect, etc. without finely adjusting a threshold for quality determination.SOLUTION: A plurality of pieces of image data determined as non-defective are stored among images obtained by picking up an inspection object, and thresholds for performing quality determination of the inspection object are calculated based on the plurality of pieces of stored image data determined as non-defective to determine whether or not the picked up inspection object is non-defective. Pixels or pixel units to be a calculation object, and a range to be included in a calculation object around the pixels or the pixel units are specified, pixel values of the pixels existing in the specified range from the plurality of pieces of image data are extracted, a dispersion degree showing spread of distribution of the plurality of extracted pixel values is calculated as a dispersion degree of the pixel values of the specified pixels or the pixel units, and the thresholds of the quality determination are calculated for every pixel or pixel unit based on the calculated dispersion degree of the pixel values. |
