<p>A mobile terminal (3) needing to perform operation control is connected in communication-enabled fashion to a device for vehicle use (2) by a wireless communication scheme, and the mobile terminal executes an application for cooperation with the device for vehicle use. The operation control method performed in the mobile terminal and in the device for vehicle use involves transmitting vehicle information indicating whether the vehicle furnished with the device for vehicle use is currently moving, by communication between the mobile terminal and the device for vehicle use, from the device for vehicle use to the mobile terminal; once a connection by a hands-free conversation communication protocol has been established between the device for vehicle use and the mobile terminal, a determination by the mobile terminal, on the basis of the vehicle information, whether the vehicle is currently moving; and in the event of a determination by the mobile terminal that the vehicle is currently moving, performance of a control process by the mobile terminal, to control either (i) operation of the application for cooperation with the device for vehicle use, or (ii) some or all of the functions of the mobile terminal.</p> |
