Short polyglycolic-acid-resin fibers for use in a well-treatment fluid, said fibers having (a) outside diameters of 5 to 300 µm, (b) lengths of 1 to 30 mm, (c) weights of 0.1 to 25 den, and (d) strengths of 1 to 20 g/den, wherein (e) the area taken up by the polyglycolic-acid resin in each fiber cross-section is 10% to 95% of the area of the circle circumscribing said cross-section. Also, a well-treatment fluid containing said short polyglycolic-acid-resin fibers. |
