COPOLYMERS AND POLYMER BLENDS HAVING IMPROVED REFRACTIVE INDICES

Disclosed is a tetrapolymer composition comprising styrene, acrylonitrile, methylmethacrylate; and alpha-methylstyrene, wherein the tetrapolymer exhibits a refractive index similar or even identical to the refractive index of polycarbonate. Also disclosed are polymer blends comprising the disclosed tetrapolymer composition blended with one or more conventional polycarbonates.
