The utility model relates to eye drops- artificial tears, which are intended for the prevention and treatment of dry eye. The tears should approach physiological properties of the natural tears, but they may have other therapeutic properties, enhanced antiseptic activity, suitable viscosity for provision of appropriate duration of action. The artificial tears, according to the utility model comprise in g/l: methylcellulose from 2,00 to 2,50, polyvinylpyrolidone from 6,50 to 7,50, benzalkonium chloride from 0,10 to 0,12, sodium chloride from 2,00 to 2,40, di-substituted sodium phosphate from 7,00 to 8,00, mono-substituted sodium phosphate from 1,90 to 2,12, disodium salt of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid from 0,80 to 1,30 and water to 1 l. The composition of the artificial tears according to utility model has optimal viscosity, providing long duration of action, without discomfort in the eye, has antiseptic action, does not cause allergies, has physiologically acceptable ?? from 7,1 to 7,5, surface tension of 43-48 dn/cm, lowering of the freezing point- from 0,55 to 0,67 ??, does not include ingredients with side effects. |
