PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience by making it possible to originate a call when the call origination is requested even at a call origination/termination off mode.SOLUTION: A radio communication device comprises: a transmission/reception unit 51 for data communication with other equipment, capable of setting a communication off mode; and when the communication off mode is set, a system control unit 57 for controlling the transmission/reception unit 51 not to perform communication with the other equipment without allowing an audio encoder/decoder 53 to reproduce voice data, and when a call is originated to a predetermined telephone number during the communication off mode, for canceling the communication off mode and controlling the transmission/reception unit 51 to originate a call to the telephone number. |
