PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a tire which enables a tire to be manufactured, the tire being excellent in on-ice performance and excellent also in wet performance and rolling resistance, and to provide a studless tire using the rubber composition for a tire.SOLUTION: A rubber composition for a tire contains 100 pts.mass of a diene-based rubber (A), 30-100 pts.mass of a carbon black and/or a white filler (B), and 0.3-30 pts.mass of a crosslinkable oligomer or polymer (C), wherein the crosslinkable oligomer or polymer (C) is a polyether-based polymer or copolymer having at least one reactive functional group, per molecule, bonded through a covalent bond selected from the group consisting of a urethane bond, a urea bond, an amide bond, an imino bond, a ketone bond and an ester bond, wherein the reactive functional group is a functional group selected from the group consisting of a hydroxyl group, a silane functional group, an isocyanate group, a (meth)acryloyl group, an allyl group, a carboxy group, an acid anhydride group and an epoxy group. |
