PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing material capable of securing high sealability by a low tightening surface pressure, releasing efforts for maintenance during use, and maintaining high sealability for a long time.SOLUTION: A packing material consists of knitting yarn. The knitting yarn is composed of a core material and a coating material woven to a cylindrical shape so as to coat the outer surface of the core material. The core material is formed of a rubber material. As the rubber material, fluorine rubber or silicone rubber is preferably used. |
