PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooker capable of reliably turning an agitator body.SOLUTION: A rice cooker which is one example of a cooker, includes: an inner pot 7 accommodating rice and water; a rotator 11 provided at the upper part of the inner pot 7; first and second agitation arms 12A and 12B which are turnably attached to the rotator 11 and which agitate the rice and the water in the inner pot 7; a drive motor which turns the rotator 11; and a control unit which controls the drive motor. The rotator 11 includes an umbrella gear 30 for use in both of the first and second agitation arms, an umbrella gear for the first agitation arm, and an umbrella gear 31B for the second agitation arm, which transmit a driving force of the drive motor to the first and second agitation arms 12A and 12B so as to turn the first and second agitation arms 12A and 12B. When the rotator 11 remaining stationary with respect to the inner pot 7 is turned, the inertia moment of the rotator 11 is great enough to generate at least the turning of the first and second agitation arms 12A and 12B among the rotation of the rotator 11 and the rotation of the first and second agitation arms 12A and 12B. |
