Provided is a hood structure for a vehicle wherein the improvement in energy absorption performance when a collision body collides against a hood and the improvement in deformation performance of the hood at the time of collision are compatible. A frame forming portion (26) which constitutes the central region (24) in a hood inner panel (18) is provided with beads (30) and recesses (32) formed to extend in the front and back direction of the hood, and a plurality of through holes (34) are formed substantially in the center of the hood in the front and back direction while being juxtaposed in the width direction of the hood. The through holes (34) are formed in the bottom (32A) of the recesses (32). In addition, at the opposite edges (20C, 20D) in the width direction of the hood, beads (22) are formed at positions aligned with the through holes (34) in the front and back direction of the hood. |
