DEVICE FOR DETERMINING MATERIAL PROPERTIES Abstract A device (100) for determining material properties includes a bottom panel (105) extending from a first end (107) to a second end (109) of the device (100), for supporting a material to be tested. A closed loop flexible wall (130) extends upwardly from the bottom panel (105) and is in operational engagement with a flexible wall idle means (120) towards the first end (107) of the device (100) and a flexible wall driving means (110) in spaced relation with the flexible wall idle means (120). The flexible wall driving means (110) causes movement of the closed loop flexible wall (130) along a predetermined closed loop path. The flexible wall driving means (110) and the means of driving it (117) are arranged at a position outside of a material containment area (145) of the device (100). IcIto j103 ~(0
