PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grid electrode which can be arranged stably in a state of being curved so as to follow a curved surface shape of an outer peripheral surface part of a body to be charged, even in an axial direction of the body to be charged, as a grid electrode comprising a tabular potential control member which is to be arranged in a curved state following an outer peripheral surface part kept in a curved surface shape of a rotating body to be charged when being used.SOLUTION: A grid electrode 124 is arranged between a rotating body to be discharged which has an outer peripheral surface part, and a discharge electrode which is spaced from the outer peripheral surface part of the body to be charged and is arranged along an axial direction of the body to be charged, in a state of being curved so as to be along the discharge voltage and follow the outer peripheral surface part of the body to be charged when being used. The grid electrode comprises a tabular potential control member including an opening part 150 provided with a plurality of openings 151 and a frame part 160 provided so as to surround the opening part, and a part of one or both of the opening part and the frame part is constituted as a part thicker than any other parts. |
