PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt failure warning apparatus which can make an occupant more surely conscious of a failure of a seat belt.SOLUTION: There are arranged a buckle switch 15 for detecting the attachment of a webbing 5, a rotation sensor 11 for detecting a pull-out amount of the webbing 5, and a liquid crystal display 35 for displaying a plurality of pieces of warning information by switching them. In a controller 21, there are arranged a failure determination part 17 for determining the presence/absence of a failure of a seat belt device, and a control part 18 for controlling the display of the liquid crystal display 35. When the pull-out of the webbing 5 is detected by the rotation sensor 11 when the buckle switch 15 is in an off-state after the failure determination part 17 determines the failure, seat belt failure information is displayed at the liquid crystal display 35 irrespective of a display order of the other warning information. |
