PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control system, capable of controlling a control target device having a new function.SOLUTION: The remote control system includes a display unit, a designation operation unit for accepting a designated operation on a predetermined or arbitrary point on the display unit, an acquisition unit and a control unit. The acquisition unit acquires a self description file, in which a plurality of commands to control the control target device are described, including an attribute that designates the display mode of a letter or a figure to which the plurality of commands are allocated. The control unit displays on the display unit the letter or the figure, to which the plurality of commands are allocated, in a display mode based on the attribute. When the letter or the figure displayed by the designation operation unit is designated, the control unit transmits to the control target device the commands allocated to the letter or the figure. |
