<p>A light guide plate (10) and a backlight module provided with the light guide plate (10). The light guide plate (10) comprises a body (12) and a coating (14) arranged on the body; the body (12) comprises a bottom surface (122), a top surface (124) corresponding to the bottom surface (122), and a plurality of side surfaces (126) positioned between the bottom surface and the top surface; the coating (14) is arranged on at least one side edge of the top surface (124); and the refractive index of the coating (14) is greater than or equal to 1 and is less than the refractive index of the body (12). Through arranging the coating (14) on the top surface (124), light entering through the light incident surface of the light guide plate (10) and transmitted to the top surface of the light guide plate is reflected back to the light guide plate, so that the light is transmitted in the light guide plate, light leak is prevented, and further, the illumination intensity and the illumination uniformity of the light guide plate are ensured. Moreover, the manufacture is simple, and the cost is low.</p> |
