In the apparatus, the support elements (102) are adapted to be radially (105) movable relative to the frame element towards and away from a rotation axis (107) of the frame element and further to bear against the surface of a workpiece, such that said tool member touches the workpiece at an angle and is thereby adapted to perform the machining operation while said frame element is rotated axially around said frame element's rotation axis. |
