An active ray-curable inkjet ink which contains a gelling agent, a photopolymerizable compound and a photopolymerization initiator and which undergoes a reversible sol-gel phase transition induced by temperature. This active ray-curable inkjet ink is characterized in that: the content of the gelling agent is 0.5% by mass or more but less than 10% by mass relative to the total mass of the ink; and the photopolymerizable compound contains (1) a photopolymerizable compound A that has a (meth)acrylamide group in each molecule, while having a ClogP within the range from -4.0 (inclusive) to 1.0 (exclusive), and (2) a photopolymerizable compound B that has a (meth)acrylate group in each molecule, while having a ClogP within the range from -1.0 (inclusive) to 4.0 (exclusive) and a molecular weight of 200 or more but less than 1,200. Droplets of this active ray-curable inkjet ink are prevented from combining with each other after landing on a recording medium; and a coating film of this ink exhibits high adhesion to the recording medium, while having excellent scratch resistance.
|
