PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for accelerating the activation of an MBMS service distributed by a service provider to a plurality of user devices UEs in the form of MBMS data packets each comprising compressed header information and a payload, by reducing the delay introduced by the header compression without decreasing the gain of the header compression.SOLUTION: The method comprises: creating a specific MBMS service data flow containing only header information; and transmitting the specific MBMS service data flow to a UE separately from the MBMS data packets. |
