PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing apparatus capable of recognizing which of first external equipment and second external equipment is connected.SOLUTION: A processing apparatus sets the signal of a second pin (S1) of a connector (102) as an input signal, recognizes that neither first external equipment (111) nor second external equipment (121) is connected to a first connector when the potential of a first pin (P1) is a first level, recognizes that the first external equipment is connected to the first connector when the potential of the first pin is a second level and the potential of the second pin is a third level, recognizes that the second external equipment is connected to the first connector when the potential of the first pin is the second level and the potential of the second pin is a fourth level, and sets the signal of the second pin as an output signal and outputs a first signal to the second pin when it is recognized that the second external equipment is connected to the first connector. |
