PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means to make packet transmission performance more efficient between relay devices in a network.SOLUTION: A relay device includes a receiving part, an extraction part, a frame processing part and a transfer processing part. The receiving part time-sequentially receives packets sent via a network. The extraction part analyzes the packets received at the reception part and extracts a sensor packet which includes sensor information detected at a sensor device of a subscriber side. The frame processing part generates a frame by storing the sensor packet extracted by the extraction part into a specified area in a frame for the network maintenance. The transfer processing part transfers the frame generated by the frame processing part to a specified destination. |
