HEAT EXCHANGER AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger which is small and lightweight and achieves excellent productivity.SOLUTION: A heat exchanger includes: a housing part 2; a top plate part 3; a heat sink part 4; a coolant introduction port 5; and a coolant lead out port 50. The housing part 2 is formed by pressing an aluminum plate and has a bottom plate part 20 and a side wall part 22 erected from an outer peripheral edge part of the bottom plate part 20. The top plate part 3 is formed by pressing a plate like aluminum clad material and has a heating body mounting surface 30. The heat sink part 4 includes: a plate like base part 40 joined to the top plate part 3; and a heat radiation fin part 41 erected from the base part 40 and disposed in a coolant passage between the top plate part 3 and the housing part 2. The coolant introduction port 5 and the coolant lead out port 50 are provided on the side wall part 22. The side of the top plate part 3 that is opposite to the heating body mounting surface 30 is formed by a brazing material, and at least the base part 40 and the side wall part 22 are brazed to the top plate part 3 by the brazing material.
